The discovery deadline for both the prosecution and defense was extended and the court recognized a motion for further DNA testing during Gregory Moore’s pretrial hearing on Aug. 14 in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.
Following the request for an extension during Moore’s pretrial hearing on July 31, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge Kira Krivosh met with counsel for both the prosecution and defense and set the extended date to Oct. 1.
Moore’s attorney, Jon Paul Rion of Rion & Rion, L.P.A., Inc. in Dayton, said the full amount of discovery had not yet been provided to the defense and he wasn’t able to file all motions necessary as a result, the Cleveland Jewish News previously reported.
