A major Southern food chain known for its chicken, biscuits and tea is coming to New York City.

Bojangles announced plans to open 20 locations across the five boroughs over the next decade and another 35 in New Jersey.

The first NYC location is slated to open this winter in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. The Charlotte-based chain hasn’t had a presence in the city since the 1980s.

“It’s a monumental moment, now that we’re entering the New York metropolitan area again,” Bojangles CEO Jose Armario said in a press release. “The East Coast is craving the authentic, Southern charm that Bojangles delivers, and we’re excited to introduce locals to something new.”
