King Charles will address the British public tomorrow morning. The King has honoured those who fought and perished in the Pacific and Far East on the 80th anniversary of VJ Day, asserting their service and sacrifice "shall never be forgotten". ‌

Echoing the historic address by his grandfather, King George VI, which marked the end of the Second World War on August 15, 1945, the monarch has recorded a special message for the Nation, Realms and Commonwealth to commemorate the occasion. ‌
