HORN LAKE, Miss. (WMC) - The Horn Lake Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred at a local barbershop this week.

Police say that on Tuesday evening, officers were called to Baptist DeSoto Hospital after a man arrived with a stab wound to his chest.

He told police that his friend stabbed him with a pair of scissors during an argument inside the International Barbershop located at 3021 Goodman Road West.

The man was transported to Regional One Hospital for further treatment due to the extent of his injuries, police say.

As of Thursday afternoon, the victim remains at the hospital, but is now stable.

Horn Lake investigators also went to the barbershop to collect evidence and identify the parties involved in the assault.
