JACKSON, Tenn. (WMC) - Three police officers were honored and awarded for their efforts in capturing Austin Drummond , the man who was on the run for weeks after murdering four family members.

On Thursday, Officer Troutt, Officer Drown, and Officer Compton all received a Letter of Commendation from United States Marshal Tyreece Miller and Chief Duty Edge.

Drummond was located in a wooded area (pictured above) after a man working in the area of Saddlebrook Drive and Bridlepath Drive reported seeing a suspicious man walking.

The four victims were identified as:

21-year-old Matthew Wilson

20-year-old Adrianna Williams

38-year-old Cortney Rose

15-year-old Braydon Williams
