MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department is searching for two suspects in a carjacking that took place Wednesday evening.

At 5:56 p.m., MPD responded to a carjacking in the parking lot of the Malco Studio on Square.

The suspects took the victim’s Toyota and fled the scene, according to MPD. She was transported to the hospital in non-critical condition.

Three minutes later, officers on routine patrol observed the Toyota crash on Tillman Street near Walnut Grove Road.

The suspects fled the scene on foot. Officers have one detained, and officers are currently searching for two additional suspects.

One suspect is dressed in all gray, and the other is in a black hoodie and jeans, according to police.
