ALBANY, N.Y. (ABC22/FOX44) - New York Governor Kathy Hochul on Thursday announced a new website for parents and students to look up their own school district's policy on cell phone use after restrictions passed earlier this year.
She says that about 96 percent of the about 1,090 districts and schools covered by the law have already turned in their policies.
The website link can be found at the bottom of this article, but it isn't always straightforward to find district policies from the link, so some are included here. • Saranac CSD will require devices to be silenced, in student's own backpacks or lockers, and middle school students will only have the option of their lock
