WEST HURLEY, N.Y. — West Hurley Library trustees on Sept. 4 will seek voter approval of a $268,165 budget for 2026 with a 3.8% increase of a $9,821.

Voting will be from 4-8 p.m. in the library at 42 Clover St. in West Hurley.

Under the spending plan there would be a $258,265 property tax levy carrying a 2.96% increase of $7,421.

Spending in the budget includes:

• Salaries at $134,538 for a 3.93% increase of $5,082.

• Building expenses unchanged at $30,280.

• Employee benefits at $29,950 for an 8.7% increase of $2,398.

• Collections and acquisitions at $32,966.

• Library operations at $28,040 for a 2.94% increase of $800.
