JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. —

One of the five people injured in a Jeffersonville, Indiana home explosion has died at the hospital, two weeks later.

The explosion happened on July 30 at a home in the 900 block of Washington Way.

First responders arrived to find the home engulfed in flames and five injured people in the front yard.

All of the victims were sent to the hospital with severe burns.

On Thursday, the coroner's office said 53-year-old Patrick Grimes died as a result of septic shock, secondary to the house explosion.

CenterPoint Energy initially said there were no gas leaks detected at the home on the day of the explosion and the day after on their system.
