SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - United Way of Siouxland kicked off its 2025 campaign on Thursday, Aug. 14.

United Way of Siouxland, which was founded in 1921, says it is committed to investing time, expertise, and resources into programs, services, and partnerships focused on Education and Healthy Behaviors.

United Way collects funds and then helps distribute them to Siouxland organizations that address critical issues.

This year, the campaign is focusing on mental health access, adult learners, access to quality childcare, and youth.

Last year, for the 2024-25 campaign, it raised $2.93 million, and they want to top that this year.

It was a full room at the ReMax City Centre, kicking off the campaign with high energy, a t-shirt toss, and motivation to make a difference in the Siouxland community.
