On Thursday afternoon, the site was a beehive of activity as hundreds of volunteer were busy with final setup at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park before the annual music and crafts festival opened its gates to the public. Article content

The event, first held at the waterfront park in the city back in 1975, was to kick-off on Thursday evening with its Coming Home concert. Admission on Thursday is by-donation.

Artistic Director James Keelaghan said from the site that everything was coming together for a festival he was feeling really good about.
