MORGANTON, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Republican Congressman Tim Moore is back in his district this week and made stops in Morganton and Dallas Thursday afternoon. Part of the tour highlighted positive impacts made by the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” a bill that opponents argue does far more harm than good.
Moore started his day with a visit to Table Rock Pharmacy, where he met with owners to discuss combating high prices driven by Pharmacy Benefit Managers. Moore told Queen City News he is cosponsoring legislation to cut out unnecessary costs.
“There are patients who need access to health care, need to be able to get their medications, and we need to pass good laws that allow that to happen,” said Moore.
His tour through the district comes about a month after Congress passed a budget bill
