The UFC 319 undercard has taken a double hit two days out from fight night.

The event, which is headlined by a middleweight title clash between champion Dricus du Plessis and challenger Khamzat Chimaev , is set to take place on Saturday night in Chicago.

There were scheduled to be 15 fights on the bill.

However, the UFC lost two of them in the space of a few hours on Thursday afternoon.

Earlier today, it was reported that a lightweight bout between King Green and Diego Ferreira had been scrapped due to injury.

And then, less than three hours later, the TUF 33 welterweight finale between Rodrigo Sezinando and Daniil Donchenko fell through for the same reason.

To plug the gap, the UFC have added an additional middleweight contest to the card between debutants Baisangur Susurkaev
