ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Greece police arrested an 18-year-old from Gates on Thursday, after he allegedly violated his probation by possessing a gun at a rehab center.
According to police, on August 13, Greece Police officers responded to Unity Chemical Dependency located at 1565 Long Pond Road, for a report of a found firearm. In a restroom was a loaded semi-automatic handgun with no serial number. Police identified the suspect in the incident as Chris Singleton Jr. of Gates, who is on probation for a previous weapon conviction.
In collaboration with Monroe County Probation, police arrested the teen on Thursday and charged him with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. He was remanded pending arraignment.
