Rowan County grandmother recalls hydroplane car accident that injured her daughter and graddaughter

ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — It’s something that can happen to anyone, hydroplaning on a road, and for one family, the aftermath of their incident continues today.

“I’m so thankful they didn’t die,” says Lorna Lacy who recalls the accident that changed the lives of her daughter and granddaughter.

“So my oldest granddaughter, w- which is my daughter’s oldest child, was in contact with her mother, my daughter Sheena, and, my daughter and my youngest granddaughter, Kinley, were on their way here to visit. And then next thing I know, my granddaughter, the oldest one, Jordan, gets a call from Sheena and says they have been in a accident,” she adds.
