The Las Vegas Aces reminded the New York Liberty that they are still a rival to be reckoned with.

Just in case the defending WNBA champions were looking ahead to their Saturday afternoon showdown with the league-leading Minnesota Lynx.

Jewell Loyd scored 21 points and A’ja Wilson added 17 points and 16 rebounds Wednesday night as Vegas won its fifth in a row and ended a six-game regular-season losing streak to the Liberty with an 83-77 victory in front of a delighted sellout crowd of 10,417 at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

“It’s a full team win. This one feels good,” gushed Loyd, who came off the bench to bury 7-of-12 shots, including five 3-pointers.
