LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Former Letcher County Sheriff Shawn “Mickey” Stines is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Video shows Stines shooting Letcher District Judge Kevin Mullins -- inside Mullins’ chambers last September. Stines was later indicted for murder.

His defense filed a motion to dismiss the indictment and a motion for bond.

Both will come up during the hearing.
