TUCKER, Ga. — In DeKalb County, a debate has been simmering for weeks about changing the rules for drive-through restaurants in the city of Tucker. On Monday, council members made a final decision.
Tucker's downtown area has grown increasingly popular and walkable, with new storefronts and restaurants, and limited space for cars.
The City Council had to choose between two options, one that would make rules significantly stricter. The one that passed changes the zoning districts, restricting where the drive-throughs would be allowed.
