LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An inmate went missing from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln on Thursday.
According to authorities, 38-year-old Alexander Gouge didn’t return to the facility after looking for a job.
His electronic monitor was found near 31st and Q streets.
Gouge started his 10- to 15-year sentence in August 2021 after he was convicted of refusing to submit to a DUI test for the fifth time.
He had a parole hearing scheduled for September and a tentative release date of Feb. 11, 2028.
Gouge is 5-foot-8 and 185 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility.
