Winter Haven Police Locate Vehicle and Occupants; Initial Investigation Reveals No Abduction Occurred

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – An earlier alert regarding a possible abduction at a local gas station has been canceled after authorities in Collier County located the vehicle and all occupants, determining the incident was not a kidnapping.

Winter Haven Police had been investigating a report from today at approximately 12:08 p.m., where a man was seen being forced into a black 2025 Toyota Camry at the RaceTrac gas station at 934 Havendale Blvd. The vehicle, with Maryland license plate 4GN0453, was seen fleeing the scene and was later spotted in South Florida.
