EAST GRAND FORKS – Edgewood East Grand Forks Memory Care is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association and raised gardening beds for residents with a lemonade stand and bake sale.

The sales are held Mondays and Wednesdays in August from 2-4:30 p.m., and residents and staff members work together to make the cookies.

“The residents help make (the sweets) and then, once we have everything set up, we have the residents come out with us,” said Kayla Simpson, health and wellness director at Edgewood EGF Memory Care. “ … It’s kind of fun.”

The bake sale and lemonade stand requests free will donations, so Edgewood can raise money for Alzheimer’s, which is important for some residents.
