PHILADELPHIA — Former University of Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond had the sexual assault case against him no-billed by a Texas grand jury Aug. 14. Not long after that news came out, he got on social media and posted that he intended to sign with the Cleveland Browns .

"First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Cleveland Browns for believing in me and allowing me the opportunity to continue my career in the NFL," Bond's statement, through his representation, CMV Sports, said on X . "Football has been my passion since I was six years old, and playing at this level is a blessing I will never take for granted. … I want to sincerely thank the Cleveland Browns, specifically (team owner) Mr. (Jimmy) Haslam and (general manager) Mr. (Andrew) Berry. …
