BOSSIER PARISH (KTAL/KMSS) — The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office is suspending the ground search for a missing man after three days of intensive searching.

Cable Tallant was last seen on July 31 near Plain Dealing, LA. On August 11, the Chevrolet pickup he was driving was found abandoned in a wooded area near Plain Dealing.

Mr. Tallant is a white male, approximately six feet tall and 150 pounds.

The BPSO established a mobile incident command site at the intersection of Old Plain Dealing Road and Dutch John Road in northern Bossier Parish. The search involved BPSO, K9 units, drones, the Louisiana State Police, a DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office helicopter, other law enforcement and first responder agencies, and volunteers.
