Jeff Bezos ‘ mom Jackie Bezos has passed away.

Jackie ‘s death was announced by the Bezos Scholar Program , who shared her obituary on their website.

The obituary revealed that Jackie died “peacefully” at the age of 78 on Thursday morning (August 14) at her home in Miami, Florida.

Jackie gave birth to Jeff while she was still in high school and was a “relentless” single mom caring for him until she met her husband Mike Bezos . She welcomed two more children with him and “dedicated her life to her family and poured her heart into raising her children with compassion, patience, and wisdom.”
