MINOT, ND (KXNET) — There's a new furry friend turning heads at the Roosevelt Park Zoo, but you might be surprised to see it's a critter you'd usually find rummaging through your backyard. The zoo is introducing Banjo, a four-month-old opossum, to its growing list of animal exhibits, and he's already making quite a name for himself.
Measuring in at roughly four pounds and three ounces, Banjo is the newest star taking center stage here at the Roosevelt Park Zoo. He originally hails from New Bedford, Massachusetts, but now, zookeepers in Minot hope to show that he's more than just a pesky pest in the wild.
