ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Multiple streets in the surrounding area of Weyl Street in Rochester have been closed due to an active police investigation on Thursday night.

News 8 crews at the scene report seeing a large police presence with at least an estimated dozen officers on scene.

A perimeter beginning at Joseph Avenue and Farbridge intersection, extending a few blocks, as well as Laser Street and Weyl Street, has reportedly been closed to traffic by RPD and New York State Police.
