A family is raising money to bring a woman’s body to the Dominican Republic after she was killed in a shooting in Hyde Park Wednesday.

Wendy Núñez Calderon was fatally shot on Faraday Street Wednesday morning. Another victim, a man, was injured in the shooting, Boston police said.

“She was loved by many and her loss has destroyed our hearts,” a family member wrote in Spanish in the description of a GoFundMe .

Donations will go toward bringing Núñez Calderon back to the Dominican Republic “so she can rest with her family,” the fundraiser says.
