CINCINNATI —

The last Republican to serve on Cincinnati’s city council before being voted out in 2023 is planning to make another run.

Liz Keating, who took office in December 2020 and served for more than three years, has filed to run for city council this November, according to the Hamilton County Board of Elections. Advertisement

Keating was appointed to Cincinnati city council in 2020 to replace Democrat P.G. Sittenfeld, who was later convicted on bribery charges.

According to the board of elections, Keating has picked up her petition packet to run for council ahead of the Aug. 21 filing deadline.
