Michigan’s sign-stealing infractions case with the NCAA is close to an end.
On Friday, the governing body for college athletics is expected to unveil its findings and dole out punishment for those tied to the case, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported .
Parties involved in the 22-month case have been informed of the pending announcement, according to Thamel.
The announcement comes more than two months after the NCAA’s Committee on Infractions held a hearing on the case in Indianapolis. Michigan faces 11 violations, six of them deemed “Level I,” or the most serious in nature, with many of them centered around an alleged advanced scouting ring orchestrated by former staffer Connor Stalions.
