PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Sports Complex is undergoing changes this week.

The Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia is now officially the Xfinity Mobile Arena , following a name change announced in May by Comcast Spectacor and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment.

Crews began installing new signage on Thursday.

The venue, home to the Flyers, 76ers, and Wings, has had several names since opening in 1996, including CoreStates Center, First Union Center, and Wachovia Center. This marks its first name change since 2010.
