NEW YORK (WABC) -- Here we go again!
"Mamma Mia!" officially returned to Broadway on Thursday night, making its comeback at its original home, the Winter Garden Theater.
The musical's cast, creatives and VIPs walked the blue carpet before the curtain rose to a packed house for opening night.
What makes this homecoming extra special is much of this cast has been working together for years in the traveling production.
But for 25 cast members, this is their Broadway debut, including some of the leading ladies.
The show has been in previews for the past week, and already its become one of the top earners at the Broadway box office.
If you hope to see it, don't wait too long. The jukebox musical featuring the song of ABBA is only in town for the next six months.
