People living in a hotel on International Drive in Orlando say they've been told they need to find a new place to live by Monday morning.
At the Howard Johnson on I-Drive, notice to vacate signs from the city hang in the windows. When WESH 2 went there Thursday, there wasn't a staff member in sight. Just a security guard who said he was hired by the city.
"The office people just, like, vanished," one woman who lives in the hotel told WESH 2.
One man said he just paid for two weeks two days ago.
"I'm out $500," Travis Wieand said.
According to the city, code enforcement found out from OUC earlier this month that water service "might be discontinued due to non-payment by the owners of the property."
