BRUNSWICK – Elizabeth M. “Betty” (Labonte) Pennell passed away on August 10, 2025, at Mid Coast Senior Health Center.

She was born in Brunswick, Maine on June 18, 1932, where she spent much of her childhood and attended school. Betty married the love of her life, William “Bill” Pennell, on June 22, 1952. They were happily married for 67 years, until Bill passed away in 2020.

Betty was active in her church, All Saints Parish – St Charles Church, where she used her considerable creative skills tirelessly working on the church fair for 47 years. She enjoyed many artistic activities including being an accomplished quilter, making many quilts as cherished gifts and for charity over the years, including donations to Mid Coast Hospital.
