PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - The owners of a Northeast Portland home have filed a lawsuit against the city of Portland and Northwest Natural.
They claim drivers often miss the warning signs indicating a sharp turn and crash into their house. In one instance, hitting a natural gas line and starting a fire.
No matter how many signs are put up or even a fence, neighbors tell FOX 12 the house is a disaster waiting to happen. They said drivers turning near the home come over the sidewalk and often land on the porch or in the home. Now, the owners said the house is known as the “Crash House”.
“It’s over and over again and over and over again, I think it’s been like 30 times in the last 20 years,” said neighbor Jennifer Reddicks.
