Honolulu police identified 34-year-old Marquis Johnson as the suspect in the Aug. 8 acid attack in Chinatown that left a 30-year-old man in critical condition, according to a news release from the department.
“Johnson is considered dangerous. If you see him do not approach. Call 911 immediately,” read a statement tonight from HPD.
Johnson is described as 6-foot tall and in his 20s to 30s with a slim build. He was wearing a long-sleeved blue hooded Dri-Fit shirt, black pants, black athletic shoes and black-framed glasses.
He carried a black backpack, and was carrying a red or maroon Hydro Flask.
