A man is due in court following a five-hour police standoff. Michael Pattison has been charged with a string of offences following the disturbance on Brabourn Gardens, in Hemlington , on Wednesday, August 13.
The 29-year-old has been charged with two counts of criminal damage, two counts of actual bodily harm, grievous bodily harm, violence to secure entry into a premises and possession of an offensive weapon. Pattison, of Firsby Court, Hemlington, is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court on Friday, August 15.
