Emergency services have swarmed an area near Exeter Prison this morning. Ambulances and police cars have been spotted in New North Road today, August 15.

The nature of the incident is not yet known, but at least two ambulances, two police cars, and a police van were on the street before 8.30am.

Devon and Cornwall Police and the South Western Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
