A traditional tale of terror is getting a makeover by two legendary New England authors.
Maine native and author Stephen King , along with the late Connecticut native and illustrator Maurice Sendak, will be putting out their own version of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, "Hansel and Gretel."
King is known for horror novels like "Carrie," "The Dead Zone," "It," "The Shining," and more than 60 other books.
Most people would know Sendak for his book, "Where the Wild Things Are," which he wrote and illustrated. It was published in November of 1963 and went on to be a classic book for kids.
