PHILADELPHIA — Kenny Pickett and Shedeur Sanders have shared a quarterback meeting room for months now. For the last day or so, they've shared a trainer's room as well.

Pickett has been trying to get back to full participation in practice after a hamstring injury July 26 . He's been limited in practice to no more than seven-on-seven drills since Aug. 4, although he didn't even do those on the second day of joint practices against the Philadelphia Eagles Aug. 14.

Sanders joined him in the trainer's room on the first day of those joint practices with an oblique strain suffered early in the practice. The rookie did not practice on the second day against the Eagles , and is unlikely to play in the Aug. 16 preseason game between the teams.
