Rake will be celebrating its 125tth anniversary on Saturday with a number of different activities. The events begin at 1:00pm with a parade. Businesses who would like to be in the parade should line up on the north end of Main Street by 12:00pm. There is no registration fee to be in the parade. Following the parade, there will be the Decorah Nordic dancers preforming in front of the Fire Station. Then at 3:00, the Cornhole tournament will begin with registration starting at 2:00pm. Also at 3:00pm the Fireman’s water wars begin. Following the water wars, bingo will begin and Norwegian Lefsa and Kringla will be up for sale. Food trucks like the Taco Mago food truck and the Cedar Inn ice cream truck will be at the celebration. Destination DC kids will have a novelties and beverage stand.
