A mum was locked up after throwing a cold drink over her daughter.

Sandra Webb, aged 68, was previously handed a suspended sentence in 2023 for threatening her adult daughter with a knife at their home in Smith's Wood , Solihull , amid her addiction to alcohol.

But then the drink throwing incident took place on July 15 this year shortly before she completed the order.

Webb, of Austin Croft, subsequently admitted a charge of assault by beating but was remanded in custody at HMP Foston Hall in Derbyshire, due to the fact it took place in the family home as well as her previous conviction.
