After a weekend cooldown, the rest of the week looks to be warm. Perfect wet wading weather!

As we move into the heart of August, it is time to pull out your hopper box if you have not already. And with the low water levels it is imperative to move like a heron while approaching the river. Also, please return the fish immediately to the water and keep a keen eye on water temps.

Silver Creek—While there are still some Tricos and a slew of baetis in the mornings, the Creek is transitioning away from its typical midsummer hatch pattern to a late summer pattern. This means we should see afternoon callibaetis begin to ramp up.
