Scots showbiz legend Ross King was in tears as he was unveiled as the 13th celebrity contestant joining this year's Strictly Come Dancing lineup. ‌

Viewers of the BBC programme will witness Ross, alongside the other famous faces who have already begun training, grace the ballroom floor later this month. ‌

The ITV Lorraine Hollywood correspondent is set to join the ranks of Vicky Pattison, George Clarke, Tom Skinner and Alex Kingston, who were all confirmed during the course of this week. ‌

On Friday's edition of Lorraine, presenter Ranvir Singh had the honour of revealing Ross's participation as they discussed his feelings before his Strictly premiere.
