PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Port Wentworth Police Department (PWPD) is advising motorists of significant traffic delays in the area of Highway 21 and Rice Creek due to a motor vehicle accident.

Emergency crews are currently on scene, and traffic in both directions is heavily impacted. Drivers are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid extended delays.
