A 32-year-old has been arrested following a “fight between a group of women”. Cleveland Police were called to the Miners Arms pub in Eston .

Officers attended the High Street boozer just after 10.20pm following reports of a disturbance. A 37-year-old woman had been injured and had to seek medical attention, the force confirmed. She reportedly suffered an injury to the chest area.

A 32-year-old woman was subsequently arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding. She was interviewed then released on bail pending further enquiries.
