Seminole Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Seminole man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography, following an investigation by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit.

Nicholas Burns, 42, was taken into custody on August 14, 2025, after detectives traced online activity related to the access and sharing of child pornography. The investigation began after authorities received a tip about the illicit content circulating on the internet.

Using various investigative techniques, detectives were able to identify Burns as the suspect. According to the police, the images found in his possession depicted children ranging in age from eight to fourteen years old.
