A grand jury has indicted a South Jersey Transportation Authority commissioner and a former colleague related to a scheme to deliberately prevent a contractor from being paid , in what investigators say was a political feud over endorsements, the state Attorney General’s office announced Thursday,
Grand jurors indicted current SJTA Commissioner Christopher Milam, 46, and former commissioner Bryan Bush, 53, on official misconduct, conspiracy and perjury.
Investigators last year accused the men, both of whom are Sewell, Gloucester County, residents, of conspiring to vote against legitimate commission payments to engineering firm T&M Associates.
