JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens (PIX11) --- A teenager was found stabbed to death on the roof of a Queens garage on Thursday evening, according to police.

Cops found 19-year-old Jayson Fernandez with a stab wound to the abdomen on the top of the garage of a Jackson Heights home at around 6:15 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Authorities said the 911 call came from the top of the garage, but the victim was attacked in front of 35-21 93rd St. near 35th Avenue and then climbed onto the garage of a nearby home.

Officers found a large pool of blood on 93rd Street and followed the trail until they found Fernandez, police said.

Fernandez was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but could not be saved. He lived in East New York, Brooklyn.
