Two new homes have been given permission to be built on either side of an existing property in the Lane Head area of Short Heath.

Applicant Mr A Smith put forward the plans for 77 High Road in the hope that the two new properties would house his immediate family.

Now approved by Walsall Council, the two, two bedroom homes can be built on the plot between R & B Foodstores and A&K Hardware and DIY shop, adjacent to Greadier Street.

The plans also include a refurbishment of the existing property, converting it from a three bedroom home to a four bedroom one, plus a single storey kitchen extension to the rear and six parking spaces.
