ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The man who was charged with manslaughter for accidentally shooting someone through the floor has pleaded guilty.

On July 3, 25-year-old Marquell Miller was on the second floor carrying a rifle when he accidentally pulled the trigger, hitting 24-year-old Aaron Hurell in the head through the floor, according to police.

Hurell succumbed to his injuries on July 6, and Miller turned himself in on July 8.

Today, Miller pleaded guilty to manslaughter, criminal possession of a weapon, and will be sentenced on October 16 at 10 a.m.
